What is soapsuniverse.com?
The SoapsUniverse store on Payhip. Buy MythicMobs packs and Paper plugins, open your library, and download the files you purchased.
What is docs.soapsuniverse.com?
The docs hub. Use it for wiki guides, news, changelogs, FAQ, support chat, suggestions, roadmap, and your hub profile. It does not host purchase downloads.
Why do I need two accounts?
The store account covers checkout and downloads. The hub account (email or Discord here) covers support, suggestions, the Forum, and profile. Signing in on the hub does not give you store downloads.
Where should I go after buying a product?
Download it from your store library, then open that product’s group in the Wiki. Use Changelogs for release notes and Support if you get stuck.
How do I create a hub account?
Open Account and register with email and password, or choose Continue with Discord. Email signups must confirm the address we send you.
Can I sign in with Discord?
Yes. Use Continue with Discord on login or register. You can also link Discord later from Account after an email login.
How do I change my display name or avatar?
Sign in, open Account, then edit your display name or upload an avatar. You can remove a custom avatar anytime.
I forgot my hub password. What do I do?
Use Forgot password on the login page. If that fails, open Support on this hub with the email on the account.
Is my hub login the same as my Payhip store login?
No. They are separate systems. Use the store site for purchases and downloads, and this hub for docs and support.
Where do I buy packs and plugins?
On the SoapsUniverse store. Cart, checkout, receipts, and downloads stay there.
Where do I download products I bought?
Sign in on the store and open your library or order downloads. This hub does not host those files.
The download is a ZIP. What do I install?
Extract it. For plugins, put the .jar in plugins/ (not the ZIP). For MythicMobs packs, copy the pack folder into plugins/MythicMobs/Packs/ as the wiki shows.
Do I get free updates after I buy?
Yes for the product you purchased. Download the newest build from the store when an update ships. Read the changelog before you update a live server.
What payment methods does the store accept?
Methods are listed at Payhip checkout. Available options can vary by region.
Can I use products on more than one server?
Yes, on servers you own or manage. Do not resell, redistribute, or share the files with other owners.
I bought on MythicCraft, BuiltByBit, or another marketplace. Can I transfer that purchase?
Often yes, with proof. Message @alternativesoap on Discord with a screenshot that shows the purchase and your Discord username. We review older marketplace buys case by case.
How do refunds work?
Purchases go through Payhip on the store. Follow the store refund flow and product terms. If you need help finding an order, open Support with your store order details.
What should the verification screenshot show?
Your Discord username in the same image (for example in a MythicCraft header), plus a clear view of the product you own or bought.
I bought on SoapsUniverse. Do I still need a screenshot?
Usually your store email is enough. We may ask for a library or receipt screenshot if we cannot match the order.
What should I write in the verification message?
Keep it short. Example: “Hi, please verify me. SoapsUniverse email: your@email.com.” For marketplace buys, attach the screenshot and ask for premium support access.
Where is the documentation?
Open the Wiki. Guides are grouped by product. Use site search (Ctrl+K) to jump to a page.
Where do I find updates and announcements?
Use News for announcements and Changelogs for version history. Discord also posts release notices.
What is the Roadmap?
A public board of work we are tracking. Each tile shows status. Accepted suggestions can appear there after review.
How do I suggest a feature or new content?
Sign in, open Support, then Suggestions. Pick a topic, describe the idea clearly, and submit.
Should I test updates on a staging server first?
Yes. Install new packs or plugins on a copy of your world before you push them to production.
How is the wiki organized?
By product group (packs and plugins). Open Wiki, pick a group, then follow Install, config, and troubleshooting pages.
What is the Config Editor?
A browser YAML editor for MythicMobs and related configs at editor.soapsuniverse.com. Use it to edit and check configs without guessing indentation.
Do wiki pages replace Discord support?
No. Start with the wiki for setup steps. Open Support or Discord when the guide does not cover your error.
What is in a MythicMobs pack?
YAML content for MythicMobs: mobs, skills, loot, and sometimes items, shops, or spawn examples. It is not a standalone plugin jar. The product page lists what ships.
How do I install a MythicMobs pack?
Install MythicMobs (and any deps on the product page). Extract the download, copy the pack folder into plugins/MythicMobs/Packs/, then restart or run /mm reload. Keep folder names exact.
Which MythicMobs and Minecraft versions do I need?
Use the versions on that pack’s product page. Requirements differ by product. Many packs need MythicCrucible, LibsDisguises, ModelEngine, or WorldEdit/FAWE when the listing says so.
How do I spawn a boss or mob manually?
Stand where you want it and run /mm m spawn <InternalName>. Internal names are in the pack wiki. Prefer wiki names over guessing from marketplace text.
Can I edit mob stats, names, or models?
Yes. Edit the pack YAML for names, skills, stats, and model settings. Back up files before large edits. The Config Editor can help with indentation.
Can I run packs on a Velocity or BungeeCord network?
Install packs on each Paper backend that needs the content. MythicMobs packs do not run on the proxy.
Do packs need ModelEngine?
Only when the product page lists it. Many boss and mob packs use ModelEngine for custom models. Install the version the listing recommends.
What are MythicCrucible and MythicLib?
Mythic ecosystem plugins. Item and gear packs such as Soaps Items and Towers require MythicCrucible. SoapsHungerStamina needs MythicLib with MMOCore. Install them only when the product page requires them.
When do I need LibsDisguises?
When the product page lists it. Herobrine, Matriarch Arachna, The Crimson Reaper, and Elemental bosses use player skins through LibsDisguises. Without it, those skins may render wrong.
Do I need MMOItems or MMOCore?
Only if that product’s page lists them. SoapsHungerStamina requires MMOCore and MythicLib. Most MythicMobs packs do not need MMOItems.
Models show as missing or purple/black blocks. What now?
Confirm ModelEngine (if required) is installed and loaded, then confirm model files from the pack were placed where the wiki says. Restart after adding models.
Do you sell Paper plugins as well as packs?
Yes. Browse the plugins collection. Suite plugins include SoapsCommon, SoapsAdmin, SoapsQuest, SoapsFloor, SoapsArena, SoapsTeleporter, and SoapsHungerStamina.
How do I install a Paper plugin?
Extract the ZIP if needed. Put each .jar in plugins/. Install SoapsCommon first when the listing requires it, then the plugin jar. Use a full server restart, not /reload.
What server software do you support?
We build and test on Paper. Exact Paper builds and Spigot support are on each product page. Folia is only supported where the listing says so (for example SoapsHungerStamina). Most suite plugins do not support Folia.
What Java version do I need?
Java 21 or newer for current suite plugins. Match the Java and Paper versions on the product page when you update.
Where is plugin configuration documented?
In that plugin’s wiki group. After first enable, configs live under plugins/<PluginName>/. Jar upgrades need a full restart. YAML edits usually use that plugin’s reload command.
A plugin stays red and never creates a config folder. Why?
Usually the ZIP is still in plugins/ instead of the extracted .jar, or SoapsCommon is missing or the wrong major version. Check logs/latest.log for the first enable error.
What is SoapsCommon?
The shared library every Soaps suite plugin needs, plus an optional Event Engine. Staff can build join kits, daily rewards, sieges, contests, and timed world events from /soaps menus without writing a custom plugin.
Do I always need SoapsCommon?
Yes if you run any suite plugin (Admin, Quest, Floor, Arena, Teleporter, HungerStamina, Traits, and others that list it). Match the SoapsCommon 2.0.x line with those jars. MythicMobs packs do not use SoapsCommon.
Can I turn the Event Engine off?
Yes. Keep the jar for suite menus and dependencies, then set the engine off in Common config if you never want /soaps events. See the SoapsCommon wiki.
Does SoapsCommon create a config folder?
Library-only use may create no folder. That can be normal. When the Event Engine is on, files save under plugins/SoapsCommon/. Suite menus still live in each plugin’s own folder.
What is SoapsAdmin?
A modular staff and player suite: punish tools, shops, trade, homes, warps, TPA, RTP, kits, vaults, and more. Turn feature groups on or off in modules. Requires SoapsCommon 2.0.x.
What is SoapsFloor?
Vertical dungeon runs from your schematics: clear a pad and drop to the next layer, or climb while a flood rises. Lobby, parties, weakness votes, and rewards included. Needs SoapsCommon and WorldEdit. Paper only.
What is SoapsArena?
1v1 fights without parking players in a lobby. Queue or duel while they stay in the world, then teleport in for the match. Kits optional. Needs SoapsCommon. Paper only.
What is SoapsTeleporter?
Walk-in portal regions: linked gates, RTP, costs, conditions, particles, and a management GUI. Build with a selection wand. Needs SoapsCommon. Paper only.
What is SoapsHungerStamina?
Action drain and weight on top of MMOCore stamina. Sprint, jump, swim, combat, and load cost stamina; hunger modes are optional. Needs SoapsCommon, MMOCore, and MythicLib. Folia is supported on this plugin.
Do suite plugins work together?
Yes when installed. Soft hooks add money, regions, MythicMobs kills, Floor or Arena match skips, and extra Event Engine triggers. Each product page lists supported plugins.
What is Custom Mobs?
A MythicMobs pack with 81 custom mobs, random spawns, drop tables, and four bosses (The Eye, The Greatest Knight, Gorgon, Ragnis Tharkon), plus Soaps Examples for AI, spawns, and claims. Copy every included folder into Packs/.
What is Custom Mobs Addon?
Arena setups for the four Custom Mobs bosses. It does not add new mobs. You need Custom Mobs (including those boss folders) first. FastAsyncWorldEdit is recommended for arena pastes.
What are Elementals, Elemental Classes, and Elemental Weapons & Armor?
Related MythicMobs packs. Elemental Mobs are ten elemental bosses plus a Master fight (LibsDisguises for skins). Elemental Classes need MMOCore and MythicLib. Weapons & Armor need MythicCrucible. Each has its own store page and wiki group.
What is Soaps Items?
An RPG items pack for MythicMobs and MythicCrucible: equipment sets, artifacts, gems, potions, backpacks, vein miners, and more. Copy the folder into Packs/, then add items to your loot, crates, or shops.
What is Towers?
A MythicMobs and MythicCrucible pack with 57 placeable towers (three tiers each), ownership, upgrades, and Tower Shop villagers. Right-click to place. Sneak and right-click with a matching item to upgrade.
What is Rift Portal System?
Hidden night portals across Overworld, Nether, and End. Reveal them with the Rift Locator Compass, then open wave defense, bosses, a trader, or a storm. Needs MythicMobs and MythicCrucible.
What is World Mob Levelling?
A MythicMobs pack that adds visible levels to vanilla hostile spawns, with rare Mini Boss, Elite, and Specialty Stance upgrades. Tune growth and chances in the pack files.
What about professions, projectiles, trails, and other named packs?
Soaps Professions needs MythicRPG. Soaps Trails and Projectiles need MythicCrucible (Vault for the Trails money shop). Living Breeds is MythicMobs-only livestock content. Open that pack’s store page for the full dependency list.
What are the focused boss packs?
Standalone MythicMobs boss products such as Herobrine (server-wide horror hunt), Matriarch Arachna (spider arena fight), and The Crimson Reaper (phased blood boss). Each ships its own skills, loot, and wiki.
What does Herobrine need?
MythicMobs plus LibsDisguises for the player skin. Copy the pack into Packs/, install the included LibsDisguises skins, then /mm reload. Summon with the gold-block altar or enable the optional random spawn.
What do Matriarch Arachna and The Crimson Reaper need?
MythicMobs, MythicCrucible, LibsDisguises, FastAsyncWorldEdit, and PlaceholderAPI on a typical install. Copy the pack into Packs/, move arena schematics into your FAWE schematics folder, then reload and test in clear space.
How do I spawn a SoapsUniverse boss?
Use /mm m spawn <InternalName> with the name from that boss’s wiki. Place ModelEngine models or LibsDisguises skins first when the pack requires them.
A boss disappears after restart. Why?
Usually missing pack files, a failed MythicMobs load, or arena paste deps. Re-check the Packs/ path and product requirements, then /mm reload or restart and watch console for errors.
What is MythicBundle Deluxe?
Nine premium packs in one purchase: Custom Mobs, Custom Mobs Addon, Elementals, Elemental Classes, Soaps Items, Rift Portal System, Towers, Matriarch Arachna, and The Crimson Reaper. Each pack still installs on its own with its own deps. See MythicBundle Deluxe.
Where do I find free products?
Open the free products collection on the store. SoapsQuest Free is the free quest-paper edition. Free packs still use wiki guides on this hub when available.
Where are version notes for a product?
On Changelogs. Filter or open the entry for that product. News posts cover broader announcements.
How should I apply a pack or plugin update?
Read the changelog, back up your server, replace jars or pack folders as the wiki says, then test on staging. Jar upgrades need a full restart. Pack YAML often works with /mm reload.
Do updates overwrite my edited configs?
Replacing pack folders or jars can overwrite local edits. Keep backups of any YAML you customized before you update. Plugin jars usually keep existing files under plugins/<Name>/ unless you delete them.
Why am I seeing skill errors in console?
Wrong MythicMobs or Crucible version, incomplete Packs/ install, or a missing dependency. Match the product page versions and re-copy pack folders if needed.
Suite plugin disables on startup mentioning SoapsCommon.
Install or update SoapsCommon.jar to the 2.0.x line that plugin expects, then full restart. Do not shade a second Common copy into other jars on the same server.
Will packs lag my server?
Results depend on hardware and spawn settings. Lower particle counts, spawn rates, or view distance if TPS drops. Open Support if you need help tuning.
Why can a mob not use very high health?
Paper and Spigot enforce attribute caps. Raise the max health (and related) limits in spigot.yml or your fork config if the pack needs higher values.
Can plugins conflict with claims, economies, or other plugins?
Sometimes. Region and economy plugins are common clash points. Tell Support what else you run and include the first error from latest.log.
What should I include in a bug report?
Steps to reproduce, Paper and product versions, SoapsCommon version for suite plugins, and the relevant console error. Screenshots help for visual issues.
How do I get help?
How do Forum follows and pings work?
Creating or replying to a topic follows it for you. Open the topic and use Follow to stay subscribed. New replies send a notification on the hub so you can jump back to the thread.
Can I request custom work or commissions?
Sometimes. Ask on Discord with scope, deadline, and budget. Work starts only after we agree on terms.
Do you support cracked or offline-mode servers?
No. We support official Mojang accounts only.
How should I credit SoapsUniverse?
A link to the store or Discord invite on your server hub or credits page is appreciated. It is not required.
