Player Guide

Join a fight

GUI: /sar menu then pick an arena or use quick join.

Commands:

Command What it does
/sar join <name> Queue for a specific arena
/sar quickjoin Queue for the best available arena
/sar join Same as quickjoin
/sar list Arenas, queue sizes, and status
/sar leave Leave queue, cancel prepare, or forfeit

You need soapsarena.play (default: true).

You cannot join while in the wand editor. While queued you keep playing in the world. When a match is ready you get a prepare warning, then teleport into the fight.

Game flow

  1. Queue — Waiting in the world (not parked in an arena lobby)
  2. Prepare — Warning countdown (default 30 seconds)
  3. Countdown — Short in-arena timer, then fight
  4. Active — 1v1; last player standing wins
  5. Ending — Winner announced, rewards, restore, optional map reset

Leaving during prepare cancels the match without a loss. A sidebar scoreboard shows during matches when enabled in config.

Duels

/sar duel <player>
/sar duel <player> <room>

Omit the room to pick a random free arena (enabled, idle, nobody queued).

/sar duel accept
/sar duel decline

Requests expire after duel.request-timeout seconds (default 30).

Stats and leaderboards

Command What it does
/sar stats Your stats (GUI if enabled, otherwise chat)
/sar top Top 10 kills
/sar top wins Top 10 game wins
/sar top streak Top 10 best win streaks

In-game rules

  • During countdown and fight, only /sar works unless you are an admin (prepare allows normal commands)
  • Kits are always used; your inventory is restored after the match
  • On death you teleport to the exit if game.teleport-on-death is true
