Placeholders

Library (menus and messages)

The library GUI layer does not register a PAPI expansion. The Event Engine does when PlaceholderAPI is present (see below).

Syntax Who fills it
{curly} in GUI YAML The suite plugin that owns the menu
%placeholder% PlaceholderAPI, when installed and parsed by the consumer

See Integrations and GUI System.

Event Engine placeholders

When the Event Engine module is enabled, Common registers engine placeholders (PAPI soft-depend) and fills internal {tokens} inside Do text fields.

Internal tokens (Do / messages)

Token Meaning
{player.name} Player name
{player.uuid} Player UUID
{world} Context world
{players} Online player count
{event.id} Event definition id
{event.name} Display name
{running.id} Running instance id
{step.id} Current step
{step.remaining} Step time left (e.g. 6 minutes, 10 seconds)
{goal.progress} Current progress
{goal.amount} Target amount
{goal.remaining} Amount left
{goal.percent} Progress percent
{var.<scope>.<name>} Variable value

Exact token list may grow; validation warns on unknown tokens where possible.

PlaceholderAPI (soaps expansion)

Reports the first non-terminal running instance (not a named-event lookup).

Placeholder Meaning
%soaps_event_active% Whether any event is running
%soaps_event_name% Active event display name
%soaps_event_id% Active event definition id
%soaps_event_step% Current step
%soaps_event_remaining% Step time remaining (seconds)
%soaps_event_participants% Participant count
%soaps_event_goal% First goal counter summary (key=value)
%soaps_event_var_<id>% Event variable

Install PlaceholderAPI to use %…% in TAB, scoreboards, and other plugins.
