Announcements

Scheduled server announcements with configurable delivery modes. Module: announcements. Config: server.yml → announcements. Permission: soapsadmin.announce. Reload after YAML edits with the matching /sa reload target (tab-complete).

Commands

Command Effect
/sa announce Open the announcements GUI when GUIs are enabled
/sa announce create <id> <message> Create an entry
/sa announce list List entries (clickable toggle in chat when configured)
/sa announce toggle <id> Enable or disable
/sa announce interval <id> <seconds> Set repeat interval
/sa announce mode <id> <mode> Set delivery mode
/sa announce test <id> Preview to yourself
/sa announce delete <id> Remove an entry

Delivery modes

Modes include (see usage message for the full set):

  • chat
  • title
  • actionbar
  • bossbar
  • title+chat
  • bossbar+chat

Pick the mode that matches how loud the message should be. Test before enabling on a busy network.

GUI tips

  • Shift-right-click cycles delivery mode on the announcements list.
  • Press F to change the interval (f-action). Middle-click is not used.
  • Shift-preview uses the real delivery mode so what you see matches what players get.
