Troubleshooting

Short fixes by symptom. Full install steps: Getting Started.

Won’t enable / red plugin

1. Extract the .jar from the ZIP (do not leave the ZIP in plugins/).
2. Install SoapsCommon 2.0.x first.
3. Full server restart (not /reload).
4. Search logs/latest.log for SoapsAdmin / SoapsCommon.

No plugins/SoapsAdmin/ folder means the plugin never enabled.

SoapsAdmin red, SoapsCommon green	Soft dep / config error in log; still check version match
Both red	Jars still zipped or missing

Core loop broken

Symptom	Fix
Commands unknown	Module off in modules.yml → /sa modules list · Want lean modules
Economy / shop dead	Economy module on; /sa reload economy / shop · Want economy
Other plugins don’t see money	vault-integration: true + Vault · Soft Dependencies
Homes / warps ignore YAML	/sa reload teleport (not only config) · Teleportation
Custom commands stale	Edit live customcommands.yml, then /sa reload customcommands
GUIs closed	gui.yml → settings.enabled: true, then /sa guiconfig reload

Optional systems weird

Mythic tab empty / drops fail	MythicMobs loaded; /sa info · Mythic Setup
Placeholders empty	PlaceholderAPI + %soapsadmin_*% · Placeholders
RTP stuck / chunks	rtp.yml settings.load-chunks: true · Teleportation
Vault #2+ denied for OP	Need soapsadmin.vault.limit.<n> · Player Vaults
Waypoints public on Spigot	Owner-only markers are Paper-only

After update

1. Full restart with the new jar (YAML is not overwritten).
2. Merge new gui.yml / messages.yml keys if you customized heavily.
3. MySQL / storage type changes need restart · Upgrading to 1.7.7
