Troubleshooting

Short fixes by symptom. Full install steps: Getting Started.

Won’t enable / red plugin

1. Extract the .jar from the ZIP (do not leave the ZIP in plugins/).
2. Install SoapsCommon plus MMOCore+MythicLib and/or MythicRPG.
3. Full server restart (not /reload).
4. Search logs/latest.log for SoapsHungerStamina / SoapsCommon / Mythic / MMOCore.

No plugins/SoapsHungerStamina/ folder means the plugin never enabled.

Pattern	Likely cause
SHS red, SoapsCommon green	Missing / failed stamina store, or wrong Mythic reagent name
Both red	Soaps jars still zipped or missing

Bar doesn’t move

• general.op-bypass: true (upgraded configs often still have this)
• soapsstamina.bypass or a category bypass from LuckPerms *
• World in general.disabled-worlds.stamina
• Creative / spectator flying with ignore-flying: true
• Wrong provider (both stores installed, still on auto → MMOCore)

Hunger / food weird

• Food bar as stamina needs hunger.mode: bar, not only ui.type → Want food bar
• Overflow still uses normal hunger; empty stamina taps food
• Bar mode + listed foods: restore is max(YAML instant, food-point conversion) → Hunger Modes

Weight wrong

• Encumbrance off? → Want turn weight off
• Pack animals only ease penalty weight when enabled and nearby
• Custom item weights: /shs weight or Default weight.yml

After update

• Provider change needs restart, not only /shs reload
• Presentation presets are gone → Display toggles (Upgrading to 1.1.6)
• New YAML files appear; old keys migrate once

/shs gui does nothing

Needs gui.enabled: true and soapsstamina.admin. See Admin GUI.
